St Michael's Hall Hire

This facility is hired to utilise a valuable Parish and School resource.

The School Hall is hired out for: 

  • Christenings
  • First Communions
  • Confirmations       

 


CURRENT BOOKINGS

Hiring of the hall facility is at the discretion of the hirer.

1.  BOOKING A DATE

2.  READ THE HALL HIRE AGREEMENT prior to hiring the Hall to ensure you              understand the Terms and Conditions of the Agreement.

RATES

  • Sunday:     $350 Hire begins at 9:00 am on Sunday morning.  Premises must be vacated by 6:00 pm.
  • Payment for hire of the hall is to be made at the time of the booking.  This can be via EFTPOS or cash.
  • Cancellation:  If you cancel your hall hire within 4 weeks of your date, a cancellation fee of $50 will be deducted from the Hire Payment, and the balance will be returned.

4.  PAYMENT OF BOND

      Payment of a $300 bond is required on all hall bookings.

      After a full inspection of the hall, any reported or unreported damage,  or additional cleaning will see the bond            used to repair/ replace/ fix/ additionally clean (including evidence of smoking on the premises).  Refunded bond         will be paid electronically to bank account provided by you, within a fortnight of the hire.

5.  PICKING UP AND RETURNING KEYS

       Collection of Hall key is from the Administration on the Friday between 8.30 am - 4:00 pm for bookings.                       The key is to be returned to the key holding box, at the end of the function.

6.  CLEANING

       Hiring the hall cost includes cleaning of the hall.  All decorations must be removed, chairs and tables cleaned              and put away. There are two wheelie bins supplied for rubbish.  Any extra rubbish is to be taken away by hirer.

       Cost of cleaning includes:  mop and vacuum the entire hall, including toilets, kitchen, stage and main space.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • The Hall can be viewed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10.30 am - 2.30 pm.
  • The Hall is the Old St Michael's Church.
  • Can seat 80 quite comfortably. 100 would be a squeeze.
  • Finger food, people standing around would fit 100 - 120.
  • Carpet size is 7.5m by 12.9m
  • Stage size is 4.9m x 4.9m.
  • Tables - 8 trestle tables, approx 1800mm (6ft) long and seat 8 people.
  • 10 round tables, approx 1500mm (5ft) diameter and seat 8 - 10 people.
  • Approximately 100 plastic, stackable chairs.
  • Large kitchen area / Bar area.
  • Large fridge in both kitchen and kitchenette, a bar freezer in kitchenette.
  • Large oven / Pie warmer.
  • Boiling water unit.
  • BYO glasses, cutlery, utensils, plates, bins, toilet paper, soap, etc.
  • Insurance for hirer and their guests is the hirer's responsibility.
  • The Booking Request should be completed and returned with the hire fee and bond.
