Old Gippstown Heritage Park Excursion

" What a fun day filled with lots of excitement and learning!  Grade One students dressed up and visited Old Gippstown Heritage Park in Moe. There they developed their understanding of life in the olden days by engaging in a variety of activities. They learnt about many different aspects of life from the past including schooling, shops, old fashion toys and much more."

Grade One have been writing information reports on an  animal of their choice.  They have been learning about non-fiction texts and the features that are included in these texts. The children created their own information reports and included a title, sub headings, facts and images.

They finished off their Inquiry unit ‘Light and Sound’, by playing their homemade musical instruments in their 'jam session'.
